Easy to Prepare Ilocano's Version of Sisig - Sarabasab


INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 kg pork belly
  • 3 tbsp coconut vinegar
  • 1 pc onion (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp ginger (minced)
  • chilies
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup calamansi juice
  • 5 cloves garlic (minced)
  • salt to taste
INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Grill pork belly until done and slice into strips.
  2. In a mixing bowl combine the following: garlic, ginger, onion, chilies and coconut vinegar. Mix well.
  3. Add the pork strips, stir and then sprinkle some salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  4. Sprinkle the calamansi juice and serve!
