Cumin Curry Tilapia With Yogurt Sauce Recipe


INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 tilapia filets 
  • 1 T butter
  • 1 tsp curry
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp coriander
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Lemon

Yogurt Sauce:

  • 1/4 c yogurt
  • 1/4 tsp curry
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1/8 tsp coriander
  • dash salt
  • cilantro, garnish
  • lemon wedges, garnish

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a small bowl, mix curry, cumin, coriander and salt together. Rub mixture on filets. Heat butter on medium-high until melted then add filets. Turn heat to medium and sauté fish 4 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Remove from heat and squeeze a dash of lemon over top or to taste. 
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together yogurt, curry, cumin, coriander and salt. Serve yogurt sauce over fish. Garnish with cilantro and lemon. 
  3. Transfer to a plate, and let it rest for 3 minutes. Meanwhile, repeat with the remaining chicken breasts.
