Garlic Braised Chicken Legs Recipe


INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 chicken legs
  • salt & pepper
  • 8 - 10 garlic cloves, smashed
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 cup chicken broth

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 350˚F (180˚C) and line a large baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Season chicken legs liberally with salt & pepper.
  3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sear the chicken until the skin is golden in color. Remove the chicken from pan and place into baking dish. Place garlic cloves around the chicken legs.
  4. Add the wine and chicken broth to the skillet. Bring the liquid to a low simmer and deglaze the pan. Remove from heat and pour the liquid over the chicken legs.
  5. Bake for 50 - 60 minutes, or until chicken is thoroughly cooked.
