INGREDIENTS:
- 4 chicken legs
- salt & pepper
- 8 - 10 garlic cloves, smashed
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1 cup chicken broth
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Preheat oven to 350˚F (180˚C) and line a large baking dish with parchment paper.
- Season chicken legs liberally with salt & pepper.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sear the chicken until the skin is golden in color. Remove the chicken from pan and place into baking dish. Place garlic cloves around the chicken legs.
- Add the wine and chicken broth to the skillet. Bring the liquid to a low simmer and deglaze the pan. Remove from heat and pour the liquid over the chicken legs.
- Bake for 50 - 60 minutes, or until chicken is thoroughly cooked.
