Orange Pork Stir Fry Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 - 1 1/4 pounds pork tenderloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 small head broccoli, cut into small florets (about 2 1/2 cups)
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot, thinly sliced

For the sauce:

  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a large skillet or wok, heat oil to medium-high. Add garlic and crushed red pepper flakes. Saute until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add pork and continue cooking, stirring frequently, until pork is no longer pink, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add vegetables to pan. Continue cooking for another 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the sauce ingredients. Pour sauce into pan immediately to prevent clumping, and continue cooking until vegetables are tender but still crisp.
